Pastor Daniel Bishebi Munalo
A rogue pastor Daniel Bishebi Munalo has been charged in court with stealing Sh23 million contrary to the law after he alledgly used tricks to con. The Word of Life Center Church Pastor is said to have been using tricks to defraud the public and was arraigned at the Milimani law courts where he was charged.
The accused person, Daniel Bishebi Munalo is said to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 1st November 2019 and 9th August 2021 in Kenya, being an agent of Word of Life Center Church and Ministries. Munalo was charged with three counts of uttering false documents contrary to the law.
According to the court papers, and the charge sheet, the accused person is said to have fraudulently uttered a letter for a change of mandate and change of signatory for the church bank account to Eco Bank Plaza 2000 and Eco Bank West Minister branch contrary to the law.
The accused person when he appeared in court denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Dolphina Alego where he appeared in court.
The court released the accused person on bond of Sh 10 million with alternative cash bail of Sh 2 million with the surety of the same amount.
The court directed that the matter be mentioned on March, 27.
