Three men have been charged at a Nairobi Court for defrauding KRA Sh 8.8M.

The three; Job Mwita Muniko, Joel Mbugua Ndungu, and Lawrence Munga were charged before a Milimani Magistrate where they denied the charges.

The court heard that on diverse dates between October 22, 2022, and November 1, 2022, at an unknown place within the republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before the court, they jointly conspired to steal from Kenya Revenue Authority Sh 8,817,815.00

According to the chargesheet read in court, the three were also charged that on November 1, 2022, at an unknown place within the country, jointly with others not before the court, stole Sh 2,203,226 the property of the Kenyan Government.

They were further   charged that on October 22, 2022, at an unknown place within the country, jointly with others not before the court, stole Sh 2,203,226.00

The accused persons in other disturbing details were also charged with stealing Sh 2.2 Million in three more counts from the government.

They were released On Sh 1M each or a bond of Sh 2M.
