Dr. Kalua Green has sounded the alarm over a brewing road safety crisis that could put countless lives at risk. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), established to ensure safety, order, and accountability on Kenyan roads, is now under intense scrutiny. Why? Because over 10,000 motorcycles from the KMGQ to KMGR series are reportedly unregistered, leaving a massive gap in road safety management.

This startling revelation raises critical questions about NTSA’s effectiveness and commitment to its mandate. How did such a colossal oversight happen? And more importantly, how can NTSA guarantee road safety when so many motorcycles commonly used for public transport are operating illegally and without proper registration?

Dr. Kalua Green did not mince words when addressing the issue, calling it nothing short of a crisis. “It’s a ticking time bomb,” he warned. Without proper registration, tracing these motorcycles in case of accidents or criminal activities becomes nearly impossible, putting both riders and passengers at risk.

The public is demanding answers. How will NTSA address this glaring loophole, and what measures will be taken to ensure such an oversight never happens again? The pressure is mounting, and the call for accountability is growing louder by the minute.

As the debate rages on, Kenyans are left wondering how safe our roads are if thousands of motorcycles are roaming unregistered. Stay tuned as we follow this developing story.
