Nairobi City residents turned out in large numbers on the third day of public consultations on the proposed Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2025.

Members of the public in Embakasi Central, Dagoretti South, Kasarani, Embakasi East, and Starehe constituencies gathered at their respective National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) offices to share their views in the ongoing nationwide exercise.

In Embakasi Central, area MP Hon. Mejja Donk Benjamin Gathiru was among the leaders and stakeholders from the constituency that participated in the exercise.

The proposed amendment seeks to anchor the National Government Constituencies Development Fund, the National Government Affirmative Action Fund, and the Senate Oversight Fund into the Constitution.
