In one of the hard-hitting interviews early today in the suburb of Eldoret town, Mediheal kidney victims have claimed that their lives are in danger after exposing how they were defrauded of their kidneys.
According to those who spoke to some of the local stations, they said that they have been surveilled since yesterday by strangers, both local and international.
“We are being threatened that we should not reveal any further problems we have encountered with this hospital. I am a victim, and my child is a victim. We have received some threats from individuals who have told us to cease and stop giving further details concerning our ideal,” said Amos Kigen.
The hospital is linked to multiple human organ trafficking incidents, and insiders have revealed to us that it is part of a global hospital that has been illegally trafficking human organs like livers and kidneys for years now.
Further information has revealed that once the patient is in critical condition, the medics at the hospital usually place him on oxygen and extract part of his organs, including the kidneys, and allow him to die. These kidneys are usually sold to a higher bidder, a patient who is in dire need of them.
Another damning revelation shows that some of the medics at the facility play a critical role in linking kidneys to foreign buyers.
In one of the scary cases, Aron Chemutai’s kidney was extracted while he was in the Intensive Care Unit.
His family was paid a tune of Sh500,000 despite an early agreement of Sh4.1 million. His kidney was sold to an Israeli. Four days later, he was killed, and his remains were disposed of in a cemetery in Eldoret town.
His father, while speaking to us, said that the experience was damaging and he had never healed.
“They killed my only son and paid us Sh500,000; the remaining balance is now a hullabaloo to us. They have no intention to pay; I request that the government help us get justice or our money. The hospital is so expensive and life-threatening to our people,” he said.
Other allegations that the hospital has faced for years include exaggerations of medical fees and expenses. Almost all deliveries at the hospital are done through surgery, and all the medics have been instructed to do so for the sake of their income.
“You cannot deliver normally at the Mediheal Hospital. A small surgery is a must. Delivering at Mediheal is like purchasing a whole piece of land,” another victim said.
