Majority of those who endorsed Dr. Catherine Naliaka Nyongesa Watta’s victory as the best 2024 medicine believe that she saved a lot of lives in 2024.
According to those who spoke to us via our social media pages and emails, Dr. Nyongesa’s commitment to humanity was unmatched, hence urging her to do more to protect and educate them from cancer.
“Yes, she finally got it; she has done a lot to educate us and protect us from cancer,” Shadrack Kamau said.
Kamau Nyongesa does not give up despite the limited resources she has.
“Imagine she is an individual and has done all this; we pray that she keeps us safe and updated on cancer issues again this year,” he added.
Merian Owiti, a woman from Uthiru, said that Dr. Catherine Nyongesa played a key role in handling his uncle’s condition
“My uncle passed through her hand at the Texas Cancer Center; the kind of love and care that he was shown is on another level,” she said.
Other Kenyans called on well-wishers and people of goodwill to come forward and support her in achieving her dream of creating a society-free COF cancer.
“She needs to get some good partners; I call on all people of goodwill to come out and support her in her vision; she is the only person that we have,” said a city businessman.
According to our survey, Dr. Catherine Naliaka Nyongesa Watta is celebrated not only in Kenya but also across the world.
She is the first Kenyan female physician and radiation oncologist and the founder and chief executive officer of the Texas Cancer Centre.
