The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has fired the first salvo in a sweeping investigation targeting the Turkana County Scandal officials. The probe zeroes in on alleged corruption and economic crimes involving key figures who wielded approval powers within the Finance and Procurement departments since the 2013/2014 financial year.

The anti-graft agency has demanded that the County Secretary unveil the identities of all Turkana County Government officials who acted as IFMIS approvers to the National Treasury over the past decade, from the 2013/2014 to 2024/2025 financial years.
