In a revelation that has gripped the city with shock and sorrow, Chief Government Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor has finally unveiled the chilling details surrounding the sudden death of Kariobangi North MCA Joel Munuve.
After a thorough and meticulous post-mortem examination, Dr Oduor confirmed that Munuve’s life was tragically cut short by a pulmonary embolism, a deadly blood clot that stealthily travelled from a vein in his left leg straight to a major artery in his lungs, blocking the crucial flow of blood and oxygen.
Describing the findings, Dr Oduor painted a harrowing picture: the clot, without warning, became a ticking time bomb inside Munuve’s body. By the time it struck, oxygen levels in his blood had plummeted dangerously low, leaving him helpless against the silent, lethal attack.
Pulmonary embolisms are often called the “silent killers”, and in Munuve’s case, it lived up to its fearsome reputation. No warning bells, no time to react, just a heartbreaking end to a promising life and political career.
As the city mourns one of its vibrant leaders, the grim autopsy report serves as a stark reminder of the hidden dangers lurking within the human body and how quickly the thread of life can snap without notice.
Joel Munuve’s legacy will live on in Kariobangi North, but his untimely passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt for years to come.
