A wave of terror has swept through Kapsirwoo village in Cherangany Constituency after an unknown wild animal brutally killed 30 sheep and goats near the State Forest in Trans Nzoia County.
The attack, which occurred overnight, left livestock owners in shock and mourning as they awoke to a horrific scene of lifeless animals—some partially eaten, others mutilated.

Residents are now living in fear, unsure of what kind of creature could cause such destruction. The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) is being urged to investigate the matter urgently and provide safety to the affected communities.
This is not just an attack on livestock; it’s an attack on livelihoods.
