A woman and a man have been charged with conspiracy to defraud Genghis Capital Limited over Sh 17 million. Mwanamisi Adori Sakwa and Sammy Martins Mwangi are accused of conspiring to defraud Genghis its own Sh 17,022,719.
The duo is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between March and September 2023 at Genghis Capital Limited in Nairobi. Sakwa and Mwangi denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Geoffrey Onsarigo.
They were each granted a bond of Sh 2 million with an alternative cash bail of Sh 400,000.
