Adan Haji Issack Denies Involvement in Allegations
After reports on various media platforms branded Somali businessman Adan Haji Issack as hiring goons and land grabbing, the businessman has downplayed the claims, saying that some people are out to tarnish his name.
Through his close associates, Isaak claims that he had never used violence nor hired goons to perpetrate illegalities.
“Adan Haji Issack has never used goons to disrupt peace or evict people; he is a man who abides by the law and a citizen of good will. The reports linking him to such ills in the society are false and malicious; however, he is a law-abiding citizen,” his close buddy said.
The businessman, through his associates, further said that a small group of people were out to drag his name into the mud and make him look like a bad man.
“Some people are out to tarnish his name. We are aware of the said reports, and in the coming days we shall be coming out strong and exposing this malicious plot to tarnish Adan Haji Issack’s name. We are compiling a strong press conference to address the same,” the ally added.

The previous reports on various media platforms linked businessman Adan Haji Issack to the spot for allegedly hiring goons to evict and harass a city professor over a disputed piece of land in Nairobi.
According to a “report” filed at the Spring Valley Police Station, it said that Adan Haji Issack allegedly hired goons who made the life of the professor miserable. The report said that he was yet to be arrested because the investigations had just commenced.
The main complainant is said to be Mr Lumumba Nyaberi, a 60-year-old law professor, lawyer, and lecturer at Catholic University of Eastern Africa. The reports linked the businessman to land grabbing, and experts are questioning whether land grabbing is a criminal or civil case. According to insiders, the report was made at the Spring Valley Police Station with the objective of using the OB number to tarnish his name.
